How far along? 20 weeks and half way through my pregnancy! WOOOHOOO!
Total weight gain: 1lb (136lbs) this week, 1lb total from pre-pregnancy! I am so happy about this because by this time in my last pregnancy I had already gained 10ish lbs so I think that 1 is juuust right! I am feeding baby (lots too) just being more careful and eating right this time.
Maternity clothes? I have 1 pair of pants, 2 t-shirts (p.s. ROSS has a maternity section and I spent $10 on shirts), 2 bras and one dress. I'm still using a hair tie most of the time on my jeans.
Stretch marks? Still no new ones to share! :) I have been rubbing my stomach, sides, lower pack, inner thigh, hell the whole thigh down with Vaseline cocoa radiant lotion (you can get here at target). I do a light scrub once a week to make sure everything is nice and new.
Sleep: Sleeping has been so hard because I'm constantly fighting with my urge to get up and pee all night and then last night I was having dream after dream about what the gender ultrasound would say today.
Best moment this week: Definitely finding out Baby's gender was so exciting, but probably coming in at close second was Ryder crying about it after.
Miss anything? This week not at all. I've been feeling awesome and aside from wishing my boobs weren't so big so I could breathe better I couldn't ask for a single thing!
Movement: This little thing has been kicking, head butting, squishing, and giving me movement for a while now. I could however do with out the bottom (now I know thanks to the ultrasound tech) pushing against my bellybutton and causing discomfort
Food cravings: This week nothing, but I have found myself grabbing a bowl of ice cream on a bad day rather than a glass of wine.
Anything making you queasy or sick: The smell of our recruits after they have had a long sweaty day working outside. OH MY GOSH. SHOWER!!!!!!!!
Gender:
Labor signs: Nahh. I thought maybe I was feeling some serious braxton hicks but I can't imagine it was real
Symptoms: Ridiculously bigger boobs, massive hormonal acne, and a healthy kicking baby BOY!
Belly button in or out? The top is out and the bottom is in. it's really strange.
Wedding rings on or off? On, the whole time.
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy, I was shocked it wasn't a girl. I mean this pregnancy has been so different; from the morning sickness, weight loss, horrific acne, craving change, and mood swing differences I was just so sure that it would be a girl. I am so excited to have a boy after the shock wore off I can't believe Ryder is going to get to have a best friend. We are so thankful that we can have two healthy and perfect sweet baby boys. Who could NOT be happy.
Looking forward to: Figuring out a name for this guy and getting Ryder on board with a boy. I'm sure he's shocked too but I hope he's not as upset as he seemed today. I mean he cried. HAHAHA I'll bet he'll be thankful not to have a sister in a few years!
Totally a side note to my usual baby talk but have you guys seen these bitstrips on Facebook, apparently there's an app for it on the iphone (BOO, ANDROID HATERS) but it's so fun. This one is me at work to a T.
...and this is what I wish my darling husband would do on occasion. *_- Honey? Please, pshh he doesn't read these things.
Happy near weekend, have I mentioned how much I love THURSDAYS?!
